The first stockholder's
meeting was held in October,then San-lien Wu
was elected to be the Chairman of the Board and
Hsiu-chi Wu was appointed to be the President. |

The registration to establish
a limited company was approved in March,and then
a land of 12 hectaresin in Tainan City was purchased
to construct Taiana Spinning Plant.Production
started with all the 10,000 spindles in December. |

Installment of weaving
looms in Tainan Spinning Plant. |

Construction began of jenteh
Spinning Plant with a land area of 47 hectares
Production started in 1971.. |

Polyester Staple Fiber
Plant was established in Jenteh in 1973,and production
of polyester fiber started in 1976. |

Director Kao-huei Cheng
was appointed President and Hsiu-chi Wu was elected
to be the Vice-Chairman of the Board. |

Open-End Spinning Frame
was installed in Jenteh Spinning Plant. |
| 1984 |
Century industrial Co.which
produced polyester pre-oriented yarn was acquired
and named Taitzu Polyester Filament Plant,with
land area of 18 hectares. |

South Land Textice Co.,
Ltd.which produced cotton yarns was acquired
in February and named Hsinghsih Spinning Plant,with
land area of 10 hectares. |
| 1988 |
Chairman San-lien Wu passed
away.Hsiu-chi Wu succeeded as the Chairman of
the Board and Kao-huei Cheng was elected to be
the Vice-Chaerman of the Board in January. |

IPO on Oct.3 with a registered
capital of NT$ 4.5 Billion. |
| 1993 |
President Kao-Huei Cheng
became CEO of Tainan Spinning Group.Mr.Shang-Hsiung
Chuang succeeded as President. |

JenTeh Spinning Plant and
Polyester Staple Fiber Plant passed the ISO-9002. |

The II & III production
lines of Jenteh Spinning Plant was shut down
and all their equipment was moved to Vietnam. |

President Shang-Hsiung
Chuang retired.Mr.Po-Ming Hou succeeded as the
